We come to your home & inspect for safety hazards & health hazards, as well as consult you on greener, non-toxic living. Baby proofing means making the home safe from top to bottom. Wires, electronics, sharp corners, chemicals, stairs, air pollution & dangerous products are all of equal safety importance.
With so many toxic chemicals in our environment & new ones introduced every day, it is almost impossible to avoid it in our homes. Having a clean, green home is important for optimal health. We can get you started on greener cleaning options such as homemade cleaning products. We will even advise you on your options for switching to cloth diapers if it is something that you are interested in!
Green Baby Party
We bring the green boutique to you and make it a party! It is difficult if not impossible to find many of the great, safe, green products in stores. This is a unique opportunity to see these items in person, to learn how some of them work, and shop for wonderful baby products. We come to you with our knowledge & our best products in tow to show you all the wonderful options that are out there. We will arrive prepared to answer your questions, inspect your home, and go over pricing and how much the installation, including materials, will cost. We can schedule the installation at this time. **If you decice to go ahead with the Installation, we will credit the $75 towads your final bill.
Step 2: Installation.
Cost: $75.00 per hour.
We arrive for the installation with all materials and products we will need to make your home a Safe & Green zone!

BPA, PVC & PHTHALATES
BPA, or Bisphenol A is a chemical used in plastics. It leaches into our food & water from plastics and mimics estrogen in the body. Learn about it here: BisphenolAfree.org
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a major source of Phthalates and sometimes contains lead.
PHTHALATES are plastic softeners and are dangerous because they interfere with natural hormone functioning. In the system they mimic estrogen.
They have been linked to birth defects, testicular cancer, liver problems, early on-set of puberty in girls, and a risk for breast cancer later in life. PVC Flooring in a child's room is the strongest single cause of respiratory ailments.

MATTRESSES are made with a foam derived from petroleum. And many
are treated with fire retardants (boric acid, antimony) that can affect brain function & cause other ailments. Read here: StMarysToday.com
Another flame retardant chemical widely used over the last few decades is pentaBDE. Due to evidence that proved it is harmful, it was banned in Europe, and in California in 2006. But there has been no recall on products treated with this chemical.

DISPOSABLE DIAPERS Are made largely from polypropylene plastic (some in the form of BPA) & bleached, pulped wood. They contain sodium polyacrylate (banned from tampons for health reasons), bactericides, pesticides & deodorants. Switch to cloth BumGenius or use natural disposeables Seventh Generation.
